Wednesday of homecoming week brought a new sense of diversity to the hallways of Helias Catholic High School. Students dressed up as figures and landmarks from all over the world. Costumes ranged from Asian to Mexican, from takeout boxes to icebergs, as students went all out to show school spirit and to impress others with their creativity.
Other activities during the day included the trivia question of the day and float building, which had to be wrapped up that night. The floats had to be in tip-top shape by the end of the day, for the parade on Thursday; so, students and parents worked all night to get every detail finished.
Excitement continued to rise on Wednesday at Helias. This was probably due to the preparations being made for the upcoming homecoming parade, football game, and dance coming later in the week. Overall, Wednesday was a day that Saders showed off their school pride.
